![]() Our band name orginated from a new age book club mail mistakingly addressed to "Cyd Peace"...it sounded kinda cool so we kept it. Cyd Peace = The collaborative work of Christine Charyton and John Elliott (with various musicians). Christine is a visiting assistant professor playing piano, keyboards, organ and vocals. John is a clinical researcher and naturopath playing guitars (acoustic, electric, 12 string, bass) as well as mandolin, ukulele, sitar and vocals. Cyd Peace is ecletic art-rock with ranges from punk to blues. Musical influences have ranged over the years. We prefer playing our original compositions. We have played various venues in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York City. |
