Dr. Charyton is a first generation Ukrainian American from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Dr. Charyton received her Ph.D. from Temple University in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Charyton completed her clinical practicum, graduate externship, predoctoral internship and postdoctoral internships in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Doylestown, Pennsylvania and New York City, New York. Dr. Charyton has been a psychologist for 18 years and a faculty member for 12 years. Dr. Charyton was a clinical researcher at Temple University, Holy Family University, Ohio State University. And taught Special education, English as a Second Language and taught at Philadeelphia Community College.
Dr Charyton treats the following neurological and health related comorbid concerns:
TBI, Parkinson’s, Dementia, MCI, Tourette’s, epilepsy, pseudo seizures, stroke, tinnitus in combination with PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, performance anxiety, social anxiety, depression and much more. I have also treated persons with cancer and diabetes in addition to psychological disorders
These disorders include anxiety, depression, insomnia, epilepsies, dementias, autism, Asperger's disorder, pervasive developmental disorders, ADHD, health anxiety, and performance anxiety.
Psychological Interventions include:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in combination with mindfulness and positive psychology.
